What can we do at an individual level?
Major changes must come from governments and companies, but scientists say that some small changes in our lives can limit our impact on the climate:
On an individual level, we can act in each of our daily activities, such as the vehicles we use for daily commuting (public transport, electric cars if possible, and if not, hybrid cars are the second-best option as they don't pollute the city when driven in electric mode). Replace air travel with car travel, when possible, use renewable energy even if it costs a little more for now, reduce energy consumption, and use more efficient appliances at home and in offices.
In our way of dressing, we can also show this commitment by opting for sustainable fabrics (either organic fabrics or fabrics made from recycled products, as in our case).
At Inner Green Legacy, we only have products made from recycled materials like RPET or recycled cotton. In the traceability section, we explain what materials our products are made from, and they have various certifications.
