rPET Material

• rPET is simply recycled PET plastic. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is one of the most commonly used plastic materials for packaging. It is produced through the polycondensation of two components, resulting in a type of polyester.
• One of the best properties of PET is that it is 100% recyclable, giving rise to rPET. Its characteristics remain the same, with the added benefit of giving waste a new life, thus helping to protect the environment. In fact, rPET, besides being recycled, can be recycled again, offering many advantages compared to other plastics.

The main characteristic of rPET is that it is recycled, but it shares the following features with PET plastic:

• Recyclable: PET is the most recycled material on the planet, being 100% recyclable.
• Lightweight: It is a material that weighs very little, offering great advantages in transportation and storage.
• Flexible: It can be processed in various ways to obtain different shapes (thermoforming, injection molding, blow molding, etc.).
• Durable: It is resistant to chemicals and temperature changes.

• Fabrics with rPET are flexible, waterproof and durable. In addition, it requires less energy than new polyester and generates 75% fewer emissions.
